Excessive Workout Can Adversely Affect Our Psychological Wellbeing

http://cin.ci/UEO8Dp

Working out on a regular basis has a number of benefits to our body and mind, and scientifc finding has verified it repeatedly. Workout can be a mood elevator.  No doubt, how long should you work out to attain greater psychological health?

A research crew led by professors at Teachers College, Columbia University have observed that those who exercise 2.5 to 7.5 hours every week have better mental fitness than average. However, more than that may lead to poorer psychological health.

Nevertheless, it has not been determined whether people who have the tendency to be depressed and anxious are more likely to be more physically active as a method to keep their mental symptoms under control, or whether extended hours of exercise may actually cause symptoms of depression and anxiety.

This is the first research confirming that too much exercise can be connected to poor psychological fitness.
