Daly, of Edgewater Park, New Jersey has been involved with emergency vehicles almost his entire working life. Starting at the Sweeney Funeral home, Daly has been working as an EMT and first responder for almost 25 years. Through the years he has been well decorated and achieved the award of "EMT of the year for New Jersey" in 2001. That same year he was also decorated with "Humanitarian of the year" by the AFL CIO Union.
