Laura Mercier Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Red Lacquer is true to color. What you see in the container is what you get on the lips. It is extremely pigmented and beautiful. It’s a gorgeous, vibrant pomegranate red. I find myself reaching for this whenever I want red lips — and having it be my go-to red is a pretty big deal.

Laura Mercier Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Red Lacquer is very durable. I applied it in the morning on bare lips and it lasted until mid-afternoon before I needed a touchup. The lip color was able to last through breakfast, morning coffee, talking, and even a few Girl Scout cookies! To have lip color stay fairly vibrant after five hours of that is impressive.

Texture/finish: 4.5/5
Laura Mercier Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Red Lacquer applied smooth and rich. It is slightly but not unbearably sticky. Once it dried the stickiness was no longer a problem for me. It was slightly drying but that could have been avoided if I used lip balm before applying, which is definitely something I would recommend if you plan on using this.
Bottom Line: 9/10
I love Laura Mercier Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Red Lacquer. Currently I have been trying to find excuse to wear it everyday. The red is bright and perfect. It’s eye-catching. And it’s definitely got staying power, which makes it a really easy choice.
