The idea of fibromyalgia patients using apple cider vinegar isn’t anything new; but I do get the question,” If the vinegar tastes acidic then how can it help the body?

Well, apple cider vinegar helps alkalize the body and if you are going through persistent pain, you DO have a significant level of astringency in your body, which should be reduced. By alkalizing your body (essentially balancing alkaline and astringency) your body will really be ready to function at a raised level.

Once the body metabolizes the vinegar, it creates something called “alkaline ash,” meaning that if our bodies burn away the vinegar, the ash that's left at the back is alkalized. That left over “ash” is what decides whether a food will alkalize or acidify the body it’s not based on the foodstuff taste.

Even more therefore research has demonstrated that malic acid is very important in energy generation at the cellular level. In addition, these studies have even shown that muscle endurance coaching involves the metabolism of malic acid. Due to this, the malic acid in apple cider vinegar may help to enhance the movement of oxygen in the muscle cells.

Folk also think that the trace nutrient elements in apple cider vinegar are significant in relieving “oxidative stress.” Oxidative stress, a. K. A OS, is a negative result when oxygen that's utilized for energy is converted into damaging “free radicals.” Many specialists have surmised that OS really contributes to fibromyalgia.

However a few new fibromyalgia studies do repudiate the assumption OS makes a contribution to the agony, tender points, depression or overall effects of fibromyalgia. Nonetheless these studies support the concept that oxidative stress contributes to the fatigue which IS linked with fibromyalgia. And so it appears that apple cider vinegar (and the malic acid it contains) may help you relieve some of the fatigue that has a tendency to go side by side with fibromyalgia.
